Scott Bartlowe
Senior Analyst, Risk Management
Mr. Bartlowe began his career in public service as an officer in the United States Marine Corps. Trained as an armor officer, he held both command and staff assignments in the Continental United States, as well as overseas. Mr. Bartlowe’s experience in tanks was augmented by tours of duty involving Anti-Tank Missiles, Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Warfare Defense. This base of experience allowed him to become proficient at operational planning, logistical support, and training multi-disciplined teams.
Mr. Bartlowe continued his public service in Law Enforcement where he served as both an Investigator and Supervisor in his department’s Violent Crimes Unit and was responsible for Homicide, Robbery, and Sex-Crimes investigations. He also supervised the Bomb Squad and was responsible for all phases of the unit’s performance, including on-scene supervision, render-safe procedures, technician training, and budget/equipment acquisitions. Mr. Bartlowe coordinated with other federal and state agencies while he oversaw his own department’s Bomb Squad plans and responses for many large-scale events, such as NFL and NCAA Football games, the Super Bowl, dignitary visits, party-level presidential candidate debates, concerts, and city-sponsored New Year’s Eve block parties attended by over 150,000 people.
